Volt Bank leveraged our knowledge and experience in data ethics to help guide the development of their ethical principles and practices.
As a neobank, it was essential to Volt that they differentiate their offering from the incumbent retail banks. A key point of differentiation is ethics and trust, with a specific focus on data, AI and digital given the bank’s forte.
A period of research was undertaken to find and develop a set of principles that resonated with the client and their values. These were then vetted with senior business leaders and refined. Finally, a set of recommendations were developed to help operationalise data ethics in the business.
